Kimberly McGraw Moore

I'm a thirty-something with an educational and professional background in anthropology, history, and museum education (with recent forays into very different fields), but I'm now committed to a full-time writing career (because I have the most amazing, supportive husband). My tastes vary greatly, and I'll read almost any genre. However, you won't find me with science fiction or erotica in hand. They're just not for me. I tend to prefer classic lit (especially Gothic), magical realism, dark or whimsical fantasy (or a combination!) and mystery (particularly Christie), though I am often drawn to anything that blends or blurs genre. I also enjoy nonfiction works in history, philosophy, psychology, anthropology, mythology, and folklore. I have a deep appreciation for the creative process. Therefore, while I will point out what I personally feel are the strengths and weakness of a book, I am not into tearing down authors or the products of their inspiration and labor.
